Hump Day could possibly be the worst day of the week, so why not add a hill workout to make it really crappy? The fact is, running hills will make you a stronger runner and I figure, "why have two crappy days to look forward to?" Hump Day and Hills are a perfect marriage. Get the week behind you and the stinkin' hills too. So, come on out and hike em', run em', hike em' and run em', or hike up em' and run down em' - whatever you like...it'll make you STRONG and the post-run beer all the more tasty.

I've got some great routes in mind :) Let's be miserable together every Wednesday and give a big ol' middle finger to the dreaded Hump Day.

Oh, and of course, RAIN, SHINE, SNOW, SLEET, HURRICANE, TORNADO, BELOW ZERO, we'll be running...we are trail runners after all ;)

Your humble Trailhead,
Mike

I don't think you can 'handle' the 10. Sorry, I'm simply dedicating my self to truth in 2010. Ya know, being completely transparent. Walking back and forth to your mailbox everyday is not really going to prepare you for the Terrible 10 Challenge :)

What a great night to run hills. I devised a great new run called 'The Long Trail Running Club Terrible 10 Challenge'. A few of us made it to stage 8 - 6.6 miles and two others stage 7 for around 5.5 miles. You'll have to show up to see what I'm talking about. Can you do the full 10? How fast? Come on out next Wed and give er' a go.
    •  Great organization by Michael. We all need a guy with an encouraging whip and a smile to get us up those hills! Can't wait until it's hills on trails!
    •  Loved it. Lot of fun.
