  ? Well, the ADK mountain foliage 21 miler turned into the pissing rain 11.5 mud slog and boulder dance. Any time new trails are being scouted, you run the risk of getting into something with marginal runability. Molly and I found our way through by consulting (and 2nd guessing) the map repeatedly and actually got into some beautiful and wonderfully wild spots. The trail through Avalanche Pass is one of those true gems and one of a kind. Where else can you run a wooden plank bolted to the side of a rock face? Huck (Molly's dog) receives the most improved runner award for the day while Mike gets the mileage award for his 100+ endurofest behind the wheel while running support. Kudos. An awesome day despite the cold and wet! A return trip under improved conditions is a must. Greg ?

  How exciting! Great photos! 11 or 21....its all the adventure. Youll have to remind me to tell you about the "locked my keys in the car at the trails end 23 miler" someday :) Great job guys - i would have loved to see this!
