Why hello there!

Meet the Long Trail Running Club

Our vibe.

It’s shared stories and company that makes the miles fly by a bit quicker, hills seem less steep, the wind less chilly.

It’s a post-run dip in Lake Champlain, brews on the grass while the sun sets, gathering around a fire or inside a local brewery to defrost in the winter.

It’s being psyched for each other’s big, scary goals - whether that’s tackling your first solo trail run, qualifying for Boston, hiking the Long Trail or taking on a 100-miler.

It’s endorphins + sunshine (or rain...or snow) + laughter + lake views + dirt + athleticism with a heavy dash of ridiculousness.

It’s meeting folks who are lit up inside by the same things that you are: movement, nature, connection.

Our folks.

The inaurgural LTRC Olympics - Summer 2021.

We’re a beautiful hodgepodge of trail-loving runners. Our “regulars” include new-to-town folks, beginner runners, road runners who are new to “hitting the dirt”, speed demons who chase PRs or that elusive Boston unicorn, experienced ultra runners who can’t stop signing up for 50Ks…50-milers…or 100s, and the “ultra-curious”. We all run together.

No ego. No pressure. You don’t need to be fast. You don’t need to be experienced. You don’t need fancy schmancy shoes or equipment for most events.

Join our group on MeetUp to see full event details. The event organizer is always happy to answer questions about distance, pace, equipment, etc.

“There's power in looking silly and not caring that you do.”
